Each person needs a valid ticket to take part in the tasting event

Your ticket allows you to sample all of the wines, beers, spirits, and kombuchas as part of the event.

You can purchase any of the drinks on the day.

You can also pre-order any of the drinks to collect pre-Christmas on one of the days we're open.

If you can't make it back to the shop for collection we can deliver your order straight to your door anywhere in the UK in time for Christmas

Don't non-alcoholic wines taste like pants?

Yep, I'd say 95% of them do. However, there are some out there that can pass the mustard, and we'll bringing them to the tasting event. When you think about it, you'll be saving a lot of time and money by coming to this tasting event.

Why can't I find these bad boys in the supermarket?

Most supermarkets are about profit and margins, they don't really care about quality products. Think about it, half they stuff they sell isn't even proper food, it's ultra-processed crap that does more harm than good. They're also in the pockets of the big drink companies, and they take up most of the shelf space available.

Can I order for collection at a later date?

Definitely. You can buy what you need on the day to take away with you, or you can order it for collection on another day before Christmas.

What else is there to do in Otley if I make the trip for the Big Non-Alcoholic Christmas Tasting Event?

There's loads to do in Otley, with the Chevin right on our doorstep along with tons of great cafes, shops, and sights to see. And if you want to make a day of it, why not split the dat between Otley and Ilkley to capture the beauty of this area.

If you don't want to do that, you can just take a nice stroll down to the river to feed the ducks.

Why does Becks Blue taste so bad?

Only god knows the answer to that, but my two pennies is that they don't care about producing quality products. In fact, most big drink companies create non-alcoholic versions of their beers to tick a box.

One of the things we love doing at Functional Drinks Club is supporting small, independent makers and giving them a bit of shelf space and awareness.

What the hell is Kombucha?

It's an amazing drink that's awesome for your gut health meaning it's awesome for your overall health.

And, 95% of non-alcoholic wines taste like 3 day old underpants meaning Kombucha is going to turn into your wine alternative. That's how it worked for me, and because of the health benefits of drinking it I've lost loads of weight, my psoriasis is under control and I feel bloody amazing!

What do you mean when you say craft beers?

Beers from the breweries across the UK. You'll be able to sample stouts, sours, IPAs, Pale Ales, Lagers, and wheat beers.

There is so much choice out there now when it comes to non-alcoholic options, you owe it to yourself to get yourself down to this tasting event.
